Appearance: He wears a striped hat and has lines on the edges of his mouth, both from frowning and laughing a lot.
Personality: Under his stern and grouchy exterior is a pool of humor and good mirth. His jokes are often sarcastic but always meant in fun. He considers himself an aspiring Starsmith from his trips with Derrin.
History: A long-time friend of the Starsmith Derrin, he enjoys their night trips and considers himself an amateur Starsmith.
Olivia Appearance: Olivia is a rangy black and white peppered canine with unusually long legs and tail.
Other Information: Olivia recently had a litter of eight puppies.

Appearance: Small, slim and slender, Caracia has womanly curves some of her friends would kill to have. Her facial features are beautiful, sweet, delicate and innocent. Her hair swings in glossy waves down to past her shoulder blades and there it stops. Her hair is many shades, all brown. From honey to chocolate, soil to chestnut, each strand is different. Streaked randomly and naturally through her hair is golden streaks. Her eyes are the strangest part of her, one eye is a deep, soothing grey, flecked with emerald green, the other a deep sapphire colour, flecked with brown. Her full lips are often parted in a pretty smile, all of this gives her a more mysterious appearance.
Personality: Caracia is very shy but not at all timid. Though Caracia is very smart, this sometimes gets the better of her, giving her a smart mouth that often gets her into trouble. She tends to hang back from action unless there's nothing she can do. She has a quick to flare temper and one that's scary when she loses it. She is not fond of being engaged and has had enough of children to last a life-time.
History: Born and raised in the prosperous Carena Hold and middle child of a large family, Caracia has never needed for anything. With two younger siblings she often gets stuck with the task of baby-sitting. She also has two older siblings, both brothers. Her parents think she would make a fine match to Vernov and have engaged her to him. They are set to marry in the spring of Turn 18.

Personality: Seyvin is an early-riser. He retired to the Erdan Island Chains to get away from the Craft he nurtured. He likes to train his more advanced students by surprise attacking them at random times when they are least expecting it. Since he started teaching at the Weyr, he has begun to create a new form of fighting - a'dragonback.
History: He has a good working history with Cevara of Gaveneth from Great Cliffs Weyr, and came out of retirement to train her up to the rank of Master. When White Sands Weyr decided to start training their Weyrlings in unarmed combat, they'd asked Seyvin to teach the class. Though dragonriders lived easily into their hundreds, and their lifestyle ensured they were hale and healthy until the end, none had the adequate skill in combat to teach. So now every Clutch, he came to White Sands to train the Weyrlings in unarmed combat, knife throwing, and various other techniques.
In Turn 10, the first time he went to White Sands, Seyvin arrived far ahead of schedule and discovered G'naro (blue Noreyelth) in the kitchens. They started talking over cups of klah and formed a fast friendship. It was one of those conversations that happened occasionally with strangers. One topic led to another and their words flowed back and forth through the subjects, and a friendship began to form through unexpected commonalities.
