Everything you need or want to know about Threadfall. Threadfall is a mandatory event for everyone within the Threadfall area. This thread is for both Great Cliffs Weyr and White Sands Weyr. Great Cliffs Weyr started their Threadfall on the last day of July. It will end on the last day of August. That way we don't drag it on and on, and wind up stuck in this moment for eeeevvverrrr...

There is no scheduled date for a White Sands Weyr Threadfall.

You will be notified a few days in advance. Treat Threadfall as a high priority story arc, and reply to it as often as possible to keep the story line flowing. Threadfall will continue until it ends or there are only three characters participating. This way, we will not have an open, lingering Threadfall post.

Please answer the following questions for each of your characters. For questions, please direct them to this thread or to Or'west (here or on Discord).

1. Please list the character or characters who will be involved in both the Great Cliffs Weyr and White Sands Weyr Threadfall. This includes any dragonrider, weyrfolk or hold folk with the potential to fight even if they are not geographically located at the Weyr. Holdfolk at White Sands Hold, for example, will be required to fight if Thread falls above Essal Island.

2. Are you OK with your participating character(s) being injured? If yes, please specific which category you do not want to see occur - permanent injury, crippling injury, loss of limb, etc. Mentioning specific injuries not required unless you're worried about them or absolutely want a specific injury to occur.

3. Are you OK with your character(s) dying? If yes, please note this is a permanent situation. Your character will die IC and will no longer be playable. If you offer this kind of Tribute, we can discuss together how they will die OR it will be a surprise to you.

If the answer to Questions 2 and 3 is "no", your character(s) will make it through Threadfall unharmed.

4. Are you OK with your character(s) losing a fire-lizard or dragon? Are you OK with the aforementioned fire-lizard or dragon being injured?
