Personality: Being struck blind profoundly affected her, as one might expect. Lilyia does her best to struggle through each day. She does not know what keeps her going through life, perhaps save the regular if infrequent visits by Sorren when his ship's route brings him to White Sands Hold. Perhaps it is her fire-lizards helping her hold on. She has had moderate success seeing through the eyes of her fire-lizards. It made Lilyia glad when Sirril took his place at his father's side on the 'Shipfish's Mate'. She is quite proud of Sorrel, already into his second turn as an apprentice Harper. She wishes that her eldest was still alive.
History: She is the former Headwoman of White Sands Hold. When firehead swept through High Rest on its way to Essal, her first son Sorli was one of the first to perish, and Lilyia went blind. She was stripped of two of her greatest loves, her first born and her work. For several months, Sorren and she were not quite as capable of caring for Sarril as they should have been.
Family Connections: Mother of Soril (deceased), Sirril and Sorrel (Harper). Wife of Sorren. Has a younger brother.
