Age: 35
Rank: Captain of the 'Shipfish's Mate'.
Appearance: Dark eyes and hair. Stands roughly 5'3". Sorren has the face of stormy weather, dark and fierce. Rukbat's powerful rays tanned his skin to a shade almost matching his obsidian hair. He has large feet and long, spidery fingers. His thick corded muscles show even through his clothes, often causing his sleeves to appear too tight.
Personality: Sorren is hardworking and kind-hearted.
His first son, Sorili's death, wrecked havoc for any good father-son relationship, leaving Sorren with a bitter taste in his mouth if fatherhood is mentioned. Sirril joining the 'family business' went a long way with his father, and Sorren realizes the brothers are not the same. However, despite loving his son and doing his best, Sorren remains stand-offish to Sirril. He treats the lad the same as he treats any of the other members of his crew. Indeed, some of the newer members may not even realize the family connection - though the two do resemble each other. His only regret is Sirril's fashion choices.
Knowing the blow that being struck blind caused her, he frequents Lilyia when he can as he still cares deeply for her.
When asked about the naming behind his vessel, Sorren's reply is simple: 'You need to make it a light-hearted name. If it too heavy, the boat sinks.'

For several months, they were not quite as capable of caring of Sirril as they should have been. Sorren gave his third son the chance to take his brother's place on the crew of his ship, Sorren was surprised when he found Sirril glad to take it.
