Name: Ta'ist
Age: 17 Turns
Dragon: Bronze Aloigenoth
Rank: Weyrling
Appearance: Already a striking youth, Talist has grown to a smooth height of 5'10". He has light blue eyes, near the hue of cornflowers, quite a contrast to his sun darkened complexion. They are very expressive as he speaks with people, usually shining with light. He has a head of thick black hair that curls slightly at the ends.
His right ear is severely notched and he has several deep laceration scars on his left arm, extending from his shoulder blade down to the top of his hand. Any who see him with his shirt off will see the makings of a deep c hest and proud shoulders, as well as more scars etched across his back. These are long and criss-cross one another.
Personality: Ta'ist is out-spoken and forth-right. Despite his past he has a way with people and finds it easy to become the center of attention. He usually is the de facto leader of a given group of his peers, and respected for his courtesy behavior to those above him. He does his best to make people feel better, a habit he picked up from being around his sister who seems to be a depressive and has a low self-esteem. Talist has a knack for it and most of the time is successful. Although he is initially shy around strangers, he is quick to begin conversations. He has an apt ability to continue them and uses his knack of making people comfortable to make strong alliances. He appreciates the benefits of networking.
History: He was born Talist. Parents were owners of a small cot hold that ended up getting ransacked by the Syndicate. Talist and his sister Lizha managed to escape with minor injuries, and escaped into the wilderness where they lived a life of isolation until they heard about Crashing Seas Weyr and how it was a sanctuary for those who were harmed by the Syndicate. With a goal in mind, the two traveled to the Weyr for refuge, where they were welcomed by the other residents.
Ra'shin taught Talist about dragons, preparing for her to Stand at the next hatching at Great Cliffs Weyr. Though he stood at Dysmeth's maiden clutch, he did not Impress. He is currently going to Great Cliffs every day for Lessons; however he did his chores at his home Weyr. Although he meant to go to the first lesson, he was recovering from a fever and so he didn't go.
When the chance was offered to go to White Sands Weyr in the Erdan Island Chain to Impress, Talist took it. He went there and came back with Aloigenoth, Aloigenoth giving him the distinction of being the only bronze rider in Crashing Seas. During Turn 17, when the earthquake struck the Weyr, Lizha and Ta'ist decided to move to Great Cliffs Weyr.
Family Connections: Older brother of Lizha. Whereabouts of parents unknown, presumed dead.
Appearance: A large dragon, he inherited both his father's size and the hereditary kink in his tail.
Personality: Aloigenoth is a rather stereo-typical bronze as he firmly believes he is meant for great things. He is aloof and occasionally over-bearing; however his temperament is well balanced by Ta'ist's cool demeanor and level head. Though not arrogant to an extreme, it is obvious Aloigenoth believes most other dragons are beneath him with the notable exception of any other metallic he happens to meet and inexplicably Ra'shin's Sorenyth who he respects. Perhaps it is because the brown is his mentor, but the reason is unknown and not one he shares with others (save Ta'ist).
