Tier One (4)
By far the largest and most spacious weyrs, these are situated on the highest tier and have the fewer number of individual weyrs. The ledges are large enough for two large metallic dragons to rest comfortably. Situated roughly centered to the other weyrs, these weyrs cannot be reached by stairs. Only dragons can get here and those without dragons need to find an 'elevator' dragon to get them up to the smallest of the tiers.

The weyrs are situated on the fourth tier and have a good view of the Weyr. The weyr ledge is large enough to fit two of the bigger dragon colors comfortably. The staircase going up to the Rim splits this tier in two. The weyrs on either side of the staircase can be accessed via the stairs however the rest of the weyrs cannot be reached by stairs. Only dragons can get here and those without dragons need to find an 'elevator' dragon to get them up to the second smallest of the tiers.

Situated on the third tire, most of these are newer weyrs than the lower two levels and the walls are smoother. This tier is on par with the top of the ground entrance to the Weyrbowl. The ledges are large enough to fit a big brown and a green comfortably and have a decent view of the Weyr. The stairs leading up to the Rim lead past this tier. Weyr One is closest to the stairs.

There are more medium-sized weyrs than in the tiers above, providing more than enough for the sparse collection of dragons at White Sands. Greens and blues typically live here. This tier can be accessed by two sets of stairs from Tier Five. These stairs lead up to the Rim. The weyrs are labeled starting at the stairs, so 'weyr one' is closest to the stairs and so on.

The ledges are smaller than others due to the smaller size of green dragons but can fit two of the smaller colored dragons. Greens, blues and retired or injured 'riders typically live here. This tier has two sets of stairs going to it, and the weyrs are numbered from the stairs... so 'weyr one' is closest to the stairs and so forth.
