Time reference: Directy after Or’west’s office and during “Weyr Games”
(OOC Note: permission is given to say Sam followed Or’west to wherever)
Or’west turned right and led them out of the corridor toward the main part of the Weyrbowl. It was the same path that Samara had to take to get here because going left from this point led further into the Lower Caverns. As soon as they were out of his office, a blue fire-lizard appeared and dropped heavily with a sigh onto Or’west shoulder. The fire-lizard snuggled against his owner and draped his tail around Or’west’s neck for stability. He gave Samara a wary glance, but turned away if she looked at him and buried his head into Or’west’s collar. Then, he ignored the rest of the world.
When they exited the corridor into the main Weyrbowl, they were on the far side of the Weyr games, but even from here it was easy to hear the frivolity and gaiety emanating from the entertaining affair. it was obvious the other dragonriders and weyrfolk attending were enjoying the event. Fortunately for Samara’s sanity, the duo did not have to go into or toward the Weyr games. Instead, when the Weyrleader led them from the corridor that led to the various Weyr offices, he made a sharp left and began walking close to the stone wall. Small crags and crevices served as roosting places for fire-lizards. The flits ignored them and Or’west ignored the flits.
He walked in silence for some meters. They’d entered the Weyrbowl proper by the time he spoke again. “I noticed you admiring the maps on the walls. Professional curiosity or do you have a passion for cartography along with your other endeavors?” After the question, he reached up to the blue fire-lizard settled on his shoulder. “Rescue, go find Altair. Bring him to the Healers’ hall.” He held fast in his mind an image of Altair.
At the sound of his name, the blue’s head jerked up and he acknowledged Or’west’s command with a chirp. He dropped off the tall man’s shoulder and opened his wings. Before he reached the ground, he disappeared Between with a POP! to do the errand that Or’west bid.
Sometime in the future she would have ask to come and study them. After just a moment she added: “Thank you for your kindness sir, it is greatly appreciated. I will follow you.”

“Excellent. I am glad you agreed. Come, let us go.” He moved around his desk and gestured for her to leave the office. Once she did, he closed the door behind him. The words “Weyrleader’s Office” had, in some ancient time, been burned into the door. Under them, held onto the ancient wood by an equally ancient nail was a small sign. It read “In” on one side and “Out” on the other. The Weyrleader, ere he lead his new Healer to the Healers’ Hall, flipped the sign to OUT….
